Last Friday August 9th the To the Bridge team  volunteered with the Bountiful Basket Food Shelf in Chaska. Our group used the event as a way to commemorate the 2nd anniversary of Tony Dolski’s passing, while still giving back to the community.

Our team worked in the garden and store, which provides fresh produce and other food items to neighbors in need from Eastern Carver County. We were excited to help families living in Carver, Chanhassen, Chaska and Victoria.

Bountiful Basket team member Jeri Glander seemed as pumped about our volunteer efforts as we were. He even went as far as saying, and we quote, “The young people from To the Bridge were enthusiastic, hardworking, delightful individuals. They are an excellent example of how volunteers support the Bountiful Basket. We are so appreciative.”

Not bad TTB volunteers!

The team can’t wait to find even more opportunities to give back. If you know of any sweet volunteer opportunities feel free to give us a shout out, we’d love to get involved!
