Andy Bothwell is a veteran at this point.
Better known by his stage name, Astronautalis, the hip hop artist and Florida native is in the midst of his third Minnesota winter after moving to Minneapolis two-and-a-half years ago.
“So the first one I had was an easy one,” Bothwell said. “Now I’ve definitely got another hard one.”
Getting used to the cold winter has been a welcome exchange for making the Twin Cities and its vibrant, welcoming music scene home for the 32-year-old musician.

As many of you may know, we’re back again this year with our New Year Benefit concert. We love the tradition of being one of the first big shows of the year, and we’re really upping the excitement for 2014.
We’re excited to be partnering with the Minnesota Music Coalition to present Astronautalis and Sims at the Garage in Burnsville. Per usual, the funds will be going toward helping youth and young adults move to the next steps in their sober journey. Read more »
We’re so pumped about our upcoming flag football tournament on Oct. 5th we can’t help but give another update.

TTB recently received our first grant request from a Twin Cities man who completed a treatment program and now has achieved 8 months of sobriety.That’s a great achievement! His next step includes enrolling in Augsburg Colleges’ StepUP program.
The StepUP program at Augsburg College strives to help students champion lives of recovery, achieve academic success, and thrive in a residential community of accountability and support. The culture of StepUP is shaped by its values, which heavily emphasize recovery based on spirituality and the 12-step model. Read more »
Last Friday August 9th the To the Bridge team volunteered with the Bountiful Basket Food Shelf in Chaska. Our group used the event as a way to commemorate the 2nd anniversary of Tony Dolski’s passing, while still giving back to the community.
Our team worked in the garden and store, which provides fresh produce and other food items to neighbors in need from Eastern Carver County. We were excited to help families living in Carver, Chanhassen, Chaska and Victoria. Read more »
